"You
lamented on this?" Sky had long put on his "I
don¡¯t care about anything or anybody" facial
expression before Jin Ke finished the story. "I
thought it was something really awful. What¡¯s the big
deal?"
"Why not just go and kick the hell out of Kell?"
Lin Dan added.
Jin Ke hung his head sadly, "But I am a man of
honor. Kell played a dirty trick on me, that¡¯s true.
But I am not going to lower myself to his level. I
cannot do it myself¡"
"But if someone who is righteous and chivalrous
could teach Kell a lesson for me, I would not stop
him." Jin Ke glanced at Sky and Tang Shan several
times, and smiled sweetly. He knew he could not count
on Lin Dan, whose tongue was sharper than his own.
However, Sky continued to have his "I don¡¯t care
about anything or anybody" facial expression; and
Tang Shan only nodded his head, but showed no sign of
volunteering.
Jin Ke could no longer stand the indifference displayed
by his friends. He grabbed Sky by the shoulder and
yelled into Sky¡¯s ears as loudly as possible.
"You are my best friend! How could you forget what
I have done for you in the past? Remember that time
with Nameless? If not for me, people would still think
Nameless¡¯ skills were better than yours! I have done
so many things for you. This time you got to help
me!"
Sky closed his eyes, and in an emotionless tone, said,
"Did I tell you to do those things for me? I
thought I told you not to bother Nameless."
Lin Dan
scoffed, "Exactly. He is always causing so
much commotion for nothing."
Tang Shan further dampened Jin Ke¡¯s spirit,
"That¡¯s because he is always temperamental. But
look at the bright side, he sure can make a great
dramatic actor."
"What!!!!! You!" Jin Ke could not believe
those three were his friends!
"I am going to kick your ARSE!" And with that
thundering loud cry, three bodies flew in perfect
curves in three directions away from Jin Ke¡to the
left was Tang Shan, to the right was Lin Dan, and to
the front was Cat, who unfortunately just moved within
the range!
Jin Ke would never touch a single hair of Sky¡¯s, even
in such a fury.
Sky, who was still standing unharmed next to Jin Ke,
did not even blink when the other three less fortunate
folks were kicked away. He sat down, and started
to play his Gu Qin. Soon he was immersed in his music
and became completely oblivious of everything around
him.
In the peaceful music, Tang Shan, Lin Dan and Cat
continued their motions in their respective
trajectories with twirlings, twistings, and tumblings¡
Lin Dan, still in the air, hastily pulled out his cell
phone, and speed-dialed a number. "Alan, you
idiot! Who told you to teach Jin Ke the split-front
triple kick?"
Tears rolled down Alan¡¯s cheeks. He never felt so
wronged. "Why am I always the one to blame for
everything? I am not the only one who knows how
to do the triple kick. What about Wong Kei Ying, and
Chen Jun,¡?"
